Technology development up to now has been focused upon how more advanced technology can be developed. But from the standpoint of creating a new market, new technology development are not necessarily called for. A new product with a new value may be created with combinations of presently available technologies. In this sense, we have to know what is the bottom line level for using the technology rather than to pursue its best level.
