Abstract
It is pointed out that although the importance of communication has been pointed out many times, there are other aspects to be consider when we enter 21^<st> century, which is often called the age of wisdom. Maslow classified human needs into five levels and showed it as Maslow's pyramid. Our industries have developed to satisfy the fundamental needs of hunger at the first level and then go up the pyramid upward, from the first industry to the second and the third. But if we look at the 3^<rd>, 4^<th>, and 5^<th> level, i.e., love and belonging needs, esteem needs, self actualization needs, designers have to look at communication from a different angle other than the traditional ones. This new direction of communication will lead to the creation of new market, where designers can sell their products with their new concepts and values.
