Abstract
The shape of the diaphragm for switch modules is traditionally like a disk. However the diaphragms in the oval shape are required because of social needs such as miniaturization. In this study, in order to detect how the shape of the oval diaphragm effects on click characteristics, numerical analyses have been carried out. The width of diaphragm and the curvature of corner of the diaphragm are variables in design. As a result, it was recognized that the click characteristics of the oval diaphragm could be controlled by the variables individually.
