Abstract
Four-wheel vehicle is known to be a nonhoronomic system. It is difficult to design a controller for this class of system. Nonhoronomic systems are required time-varying control or discontinuous control. However, it is difficult to design them theoretically. In this paper, we propose a control method for a four-wheel vehicle using a time-varying controller. The system parameters as the coefficients of the control gains are determined by GA optimization.
