Abstract
Recently the lathe skill tends to be lost because of aging experts, therefore personnel training has got more attention. Then, we developed the lathe processing skill transfer system for beginners that is used under virtual reality environment. The system detects the cutting condition while training of the operation. And the system presents the visual, force, and auditory sense depends on the cutting condition. We studied in demands of detail representation about sense of use the system, and consequence of showing sending speed of the tool bit on the vision. Then we discuss efficacy of the lathe skill transfer by comparison while on-the-job training.
