Abstract
The recent products are sometimes designed by inspiration of nature. As an example, there are the loop fastener and the honeycomb structure. In this study, we tried that we developed new design methods from wisdom of the natural world. Particularly, we see if one can't apply them to weight reduction and high rigidity. As the method for construction, we discover some strategies of the weight reduction by observing the animals and plants. We classify and arrange them in analogy. The analogies may be applicable to a design. The design principles are derived by the analogies. We develop design methods from the design principles. As a result, some design principles were derived by the method that we proposed and was able to try that we made one design method. The proposed method was able to derive some design principles. It makes sure of a possible thing to indicate some artifices of weight reduction of the natural world for a design.
