A consideration on the expression of thinking process based on Design dualism and Multispace design model

Abstract

This paper describes the thinking process based on the design dualism and the multispace design model. Additionally, it also describes the position of the design dualism in the multispace design model required for that purpose. Specifically, we focused on the relationship between the "part" and "whole" of design elements in the thinking space of multispace design model, and described intra-space modeling and inter-space modeling based on the design dualism. Moreover, thinking paths are exemplified using bottom-up and top-down, deduction and abduction reasoning, and consideration points are discussed.
