In recent years, remote communication using avatar robots and other devices has attracted much attention. This research aims to enable remote users to communicate not only with robots but also with any other objects by using them as avatars. Specifically, we used a 360° camera and voice to investigate whether the remote user feels that he or she has been transported into an object and whether the people around the object feel that the object is an avatar when it is used as an avatar. This aims to provide a new perspective on avatar-human interaction.
