Abstract
This paper shows about an operation system suitable for the destination call system. The most important benefit of the destination call system is that the destination floor of the call is fixed simultaneous with its registration. By utilizing this benefit, the operation system can predict routes to respond all registered calls and the arriving time of a car and the number of waiting passengers of the call by each route. By utilizing this benefit of destination call system, the operation system can reduce average waiting time and power consumption because it can enumerate all routes to respond all registered calls without combination explosion since the number of combination is reduced drastically by dividing the shaft into two sectors and by the control rule, i.e. controlling the descending order of a passenger in accordance with the ascending order of the passenger and can select an optimal route to minimize an evaluation function of average waiting time and power consumption in time. Also, User-friendliness is improved by controlling the descending order of a passenger in accordance with the ascending order of the passenger. Besides, the accident of being trapped in elevator at the terminal floors is prevented by controlling the number of passengers in a car.
