Abstract
The absorption refrigerator driven by waste heat is a very useful refrigerator from the view point of the reduction in CO_2 emissions or the application to the co-generation system. However, when the absorption refrigerator is driven only by waste heat, there is a possibility that it can not satisfy the requirement of cooling capacity due to the shortage of the waste heat. For such as case, authors have suggested the absorption refrigerator driven by a waste heat and gas which backs up the shortage of the waste heat. But the shortage of waste heat can be backed up with vapor compressing refrigerator driven by electric power in consideration of the primary energy efficiency. Threfore, in the latest research, we have suggested WMVR (Waste heat and Mechanical Vapor Recompressing driven type) hybrid absorption refrigerator. The cycle of this refrigerator is a combined one of waste heat cycle which is a single effict cycle and MVR cycle driven by the electric power. This research investigate the high efficient WMVR hybrid absorption refrigerator whose waste heat cycle is double effect one. As a resut, the efficiency of the waste heat cycle improves greatly.
