Abstract
Recently, construction of the refuse disposal system corresponding to recycling society is needed. Then, it is raised as one measure that many wastes by which the present incineration processing is carried out are used effectively as energy and resources. This research quantitatively evaluates environmental load using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) technique focusing on high efficiency of refuse power generation and effective use technology of a residual substance. We use the Environmental Load Point (ELP) for index. The conclusion that can realize reduction of environmental load without having big influence on economy is obtained because of enhancement of power generation efficiency by enlargement of a processing scale and steam condition improvement. Moreover, the conclusion that can realize reduction of environmental load is obtained because of the effective use technology of a residual substance considers the obtained resources as product substitution.
