Abstract
Recently, a lot of environmental problems have been escalating. In these circumstances, it is not small for our everyday lives to make an impact on the global environment. So, we have suggested the LSA (Life Style Assessment) as the evaluation method of the environmental load in one's everyday life, and have evaluated the effect of environmental load reduction by improving the behavior of lifestyle. In this report, we evaluated the environmental load in using heating appliances. As a result, the environmental load became the smallest value when using "kotatsu" (small table with an electric heater underneath and covered by a quilt). Additionally, we suggested the renewal-timing index of home electric appliances from the aspect of the quantity of electric power consumption.
