Abstract
Hydrogen gas generated by biomass is anticipated as a one of the sustainable and clean energy source. Experimental study was done to improve the efficiency of production of Hydrogen gas generated by photosynthesis of microorganisms. The intensity of light energy was increased to foster the reaction of photosynthesis by microorganism using batch reactors. The light intensity were varied from 5000 to 15000Lx. The results showed that the increase of light intensity was not proportional to and the production rate of hydrogen gas.
