Abstract
Water shortage is particularly serious where electric power supply facility is not enough such as isolated island. In order to solve such problem, we examined seawater desalination system by using renewable energy. In this research, we have developed small MED system model and calculated effect of heat source temperature and effect number of MED on heat input, evaporating temperature of each evaporator, product water and GOR. As a result we have constructed the model of MED system and calculated hot water inlet temperature and effect number of MED system influence GOR.
