Abstract

Recently, a turbomachine is required to have a high performance compressor cascade. A test model used a flat plate with the semicircular leading which have a laminar separation bubble, simulating a stator blade of a compressor. The rotor rows wakes were simulated by the cylindrical moving bars located upstream of the test section. The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of the periodic wakes upon the separated flow around the leading edge of the blade.
