Abstract
The effect of frequency of a vibrating plate on the surface tension of a small droplet of surfactant liquids was studied.Assuming a static droplet at the lowest position of the vibrating palate, the theoretical droplet shape could be rigorously determined by numerical analysis.Dynamic surface tension measured four kind of surfactant solution. In the case of water-solubility surfactants, the measurements of surface tension were increased with increasing in frequency. However,in the case of water-insolubility surfactant, the measurement values of surface tension were not affected by vibrating frequency. The effect of frequency and solubility on the dynamic surface tension was presented and discussed in this study.
