Abstract
As a small hydraulic power generation system utilizing an irrigation canal, the dockable two-dimensional oscillating wing system was developed. This system forms fish tail like wing movement with heaving and pitching motion. However, it also generates rotational fluctuation. In this paper, characteristics of rotation in the case of two-wing and three-wing setting. As the results, in the case of two wings, phase difference of 90 degree makes high rotation. In the case of three wings, phase difference of 120 degree by placing them evenly, achieve strongest and highest rotation. Maximum output of only 0.6W at U=0.5m/s, not enough power for electricity, was observed.
