Abstract

This study is focused on development of a vibration power generator which can also suppress pressure pulsation in liquid flow pipelines. A prototype device was made and tested in a water hydraulic circuit to verify the effectiveness of the device. Pulsation damping factor was calculated based on measurement values of pressure and diaphragm displacement. As a result, the device shows pressure pulsation damping effect with diaphragm deformation. In near future, the device is coupled with some magnetostriction material, and is evaluated as power generator.
