Abstract
This paper deals with numerical simulation of the NO product in the two-cycle engine. The simple calculation model that the volume of in-cylinder was divided into plural cells was used for numerical simulation. The elementary reaction mechanism was used for combustive reaction of propane, and the expansion Zeldovich mechanism was used for the NO product. Because considering a two-cycle engine, the scavenging efficiency was given to mixture gas in the cell, and the change of radical element which influences NO product was examined. As a result, the relations of scavenging efficiency and NO product were cleared.
