Abstract
When the shape of the object is measured with a laser displacement meter, the shape change within the diameter of the laser is output as indistinct data. It is thought that there is cause from which data is made indistinct in the process until the measuring instrument outputs. In this research, we try to obtain sharper shape data by doing appropriate numeric processing for output data in consideration of the output characteristic of the displacement meter. On the simulation, sharpening of output data succeeded, but for sharpening of actual measurement data, this method did not turn out to be appropriate. More exact reappearance of output characteristic is required for success of sharpening measured data.
