Abstract
This paper studies vibration characteristics of laminated composite plates with initial imperfections. Composite laminated asymmetrically have a slight deformation after the process of production. Vibration characteristics of the laminated plates with initial imperfections are investigated by theoretical analysis using the Ritz method and experimental modal analysis. Natural frequencies and mode shapes obtained by the analysis and experiment are compared each other.
