Abstract
This paper deals with numerical simulation of combustion reaction as the subject of a two-stroke cycle engine. The simulation uses scavenging efficiencies to consider the concentration of residual gases, and is carried out with a single cell. Fuel used the simulation is propane gas which is solved the mechanism of elementary reactions. As a result, the rate of heat release for [HCO+OH=CO+H2O] becomes most large in formulas of elementary reaction. Moreover, formation of CO2,such as [CO+O+M=CO2+M] and [CO+OH=CO2+H], also has large rate of heat release, and the rate of heat absorption is larger in [H+O2=O+OH]. On the one hand, residual gas decreases the combustion temperature, and simultaneously the reaction speed.
