Abstract
In this paper, we treat a walking Guide System for Visually disabled Situation using our Tactile Display Glove(TDG). Among the numerous information through sight sense, the distance information and attributes of surrounding obstacles are picked up and feedback to operator to assist self-walking. In this paper, we discuss the detecting signal from obstacles attribute and the measure of direct system operation feel and the performance of this system. To improve the direct operation feel, we adopt the repeating recognition frequency and walking time for this index.
