Abstract
Blower is widely used for dust collection and dust removal, ventilation. Recently, It is easy to generate vibration and noise due to the stiffness decrease by small-size and weight saving. The purpose of this research is to clarify noise phenomenon of blower, and to propose its reduction method the approach of the study is as follows. (1) Vibration and noise characteristics are investigated by impact tests and by noise test respectively. (2) The noise reduction method is investigated by analyzing noise characteristics. As the result, the noise characteristics are clarified and the noise reduction method is proposed.
