Abstract
This paper reports a control method of an impact position using fluctuating radiation pressure originated by laser beam in opposed jets. Fluctuating radiation pressure by laser beam excites on fluid in a center of the opposed jets. Then turbulent intensity in the jet center increases and the impact position shifts to this position. For the case with excitation of the jets by small fluctuating pressure and radiation pressure we measured mean velocity distributions and the impact position for various L and flow-rate of two opposed jets, where L is distance between the two opposed nozzles. As a result, it is clarified that the impact position shifts toward the position of excitation by the small fluctuating pressure and the radiation pressure.
