Abstract
A diffusion experiment using a thin tube filled with the liquid LBE and the Ni powder was performed and the Ni concentration distribution in LBE were obtained by the inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopy (ICP-MS) method. From the Ni concentration distribution, the diffusion coefficient of Ni in LBE can be obtained as ln D_<Ni>=-4.86-17.7(kJ/mol)/RT (550℃<T<℃)
