Abstract
To increase recording capacity of hard drives, accurate head positioning techniques are indispensable for achieving higher track density. This paper describes developed technologies for accurate positioning, one is a higher resonance actuator for higher servo bandwidth, and the other is a acceleration feed forward control to supress disturbances. And we will estimate head positionig technology for future higher TPI drives.
