Determination of the End of Positioning Phase Using Support Vector Machine

-A Method Using Both Hard and Soft Margins-

Abstract

We proposed a method to determine the end of the positioning phase based on a support vector machine, and the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified by simulation. In this paper, we propose a method that uses both of the hard margin and soft margin to enhance the generalization capability. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by using a data obtained from a galvano scanner control system.
