Abstract

3D bioprinting is one of methods for creating cellular tissue substitute. In order to create scaffold by 3D bioprinting, it is necessary to print high viscosity biomaterial with high accuracy. Alginate hydrogel, it is one of biomaterials, can produce high strength gel by mixing low viscosity two liquids, and highly accurate printing is reported by 3D bioprinting. However, it is usually not possible to print with alginate hydrogel structure print thinner than the nozzle inner diameter. Therefore, we considered printing alginate hydrogel utilizing ultrasonic vibration. By this method, we success in creating alginate hydrogel structure thinner than the nozzle inner diameter.
