Abstract

This report describes basic study of paper attitude during conveyance between rollers with unequal speed. The nip transport mechanism with a pair of rollers is widely used in many devices, such as automated teller machines (ATMs), printing machine, and so on. In such machines, a paper is sometimes nipped by two pairs of rollers of the unequal rotary speed. In such cases the paper attitude during conveyance is likely to change. In this report, the parameters that affect the paper attitude during conveyance between rollers with unequal speed are found. And the influence are found by the observation of the paper attitude in actual transport.
