Currently, HDDs are mainly used as storage devices in data center servers. However, it is known that the vibration caused by the sound pressure of the HDD cooling fan in the server increases the positioning error of the head and reduces the read/write speed. In a previous study, adaptive control was used to reduce the vibration, but it was found to be difficult to reduce the vibration when the disturbance frequency changed.
