Abstract
The experiment was performed to investigate the effect of interaction of liquid fuel particles on ignition delay in high temperature environment. The geometrically controlled particles on two dimensional plane imitated the liquid fuel particles and the geometric configuration of the particles was decided by the "coordination". The coordination number was 3 and the number of the neighboring circle was 1, the diameter and the particle distance were the experimental parameters. As a result of the experiment, the ignition delay of the single particle increased with the particle diameter as shown as the past studies and the ignition delay of the particles of the diameter 0.9 mm in the coordination showed a minimum at a particle distance.
