Abstract
As a therapy for the valve functionless patient, in the clinic, the displacement of artificial heart valve is well done. It is reported that the valve functionless after valve replacement often happens in this inside in the pulmonary position. Then, the contraction stage of heart ventricle model was made, and the closure behavior of the valve was observed under the pulsatile flow by the mounting of mechanical artificial heart valve. The artificial heart valve showed the unstable abnormality, when it became under the value in which there was maximum value of pulmonary arterial pressure. And, the behavior abnormal condition was frequently observed SJM valve which was the two leaf valve in comparison with the one leaf valve (BS valve). In case of the SJM valve, it was mainly observed that only the one leaf became the closure disorder, since hydrodynamic force and gravity which affect the valve leaf by mounting angle and flow channel geometry of artificial heart valve are different. In vitro, As a result of trying the experiment, it was possible to reproduce the valve functionless experienced as clinical example almost. And, it was possible to obtain the knowledge on the hydrodynamic factor, which is related to the closure disorder of the valve
