Abstract
We focus on the development of wearable type Health Monitoring System (HMS) for a diabetes patient. HMS consists of three parts, which are (1) the blood vessel search system, (2) the vacuum suck system and (3) biosensor for blood sugar level. Firstly, capillary blood vessel is sought by the blood vessel search system. Secondly, a painless micro needle having an inside diameter 100μm or less, is injected to the human skin. Finally, the device can extract a micro liter of blood and measure the blood sugar level by the automatic operation. It took less than one seconds, when the 3 micro liters of blood was extracted through the micro needle of inner diameter 100μm. The concentration of blood sugar levels was measured by the biosensor, and the output voltage for the concentration was increasing with increasing of the concentration.
