Abstract
The domestic fruit farmers in grape and pear farming work all year around under trellis. Since they often keep raising their hands for a long time during picking, the work is very hard and their physical burden is very high. So some measure to reduce their burden has been strongly expected. In the medical and nursing fields, an assist suit has been actively developing. We focused on such a function and we developed the assist suit "RAKU VEST" in 2013, which employs the upper body type posture supporting assist system, for the farmer's under-trellis work.
