Abstract
An impinging jet cell is composed of a jet nozzle, an impingement surface, a thermally insulated wall and an exit. Heat transfer characteristics of an impinging jet cell was evaluated numerically by solving the two-dimensional governing equations and changing the space and Reynolds numbers for laminar jet. Average Nusselt numbers depend on Re^<0.47> and (h/w)^<-0.25>.
