Abstract
The axisymmetric air jet impinging onto an internal wall of hemisphere face is studied experimentally. The flow characteristic of the impinging jet was verified by the change of impingement height and offset angle. First, the flow of the impinging jet was confirmed using flow visualization technique by the dry ice method. The average velocity was measured by hot-wire anemometer. Wall static pressure was measured using the pressure transducer. Those velocity distribution and pressure distribution be shown by figures. As the result, the characteristic of the velocity distribution on wall surface was clarified.
