Abstract
A typical phenomena seen in Japanese educational society is so called Technodivide, which especially taking place in beginning stage for technology and skill training. That means producing two kinds peoples, ones are so found of modern technology and others having no interest in not only about technology but also modern cultural society itself. Here the reason for origination of such Technodivide is analyzed in Japanese educational history between end of Edo period (〜1860) and up to Taisho era (〜1920). It can be said that fundamental reason of people's dividing originated on lack of strict training of self independence for livelihood by laborious task like apprenticeship, especially in younger age.
