Abstract
A power assist system is nominated in the problem to take an action for an aging society that our country has. Those power assist system can make the power of many times compared with the case not attaching. In this study, we used a Mckibben actuator that is one of pneumatic actuator as the power assist system (Following PAS). Surface Electro MyoGram(Following EMG), that can measure load to human body, is used to evaluate the developed PAS. The control performance in the case of PD control to follow the reference signal was compared with the case of not using the reference signal from the results of surface EMG.
