Abstract
The interfacial corner toughness, Hc can be applied for predicting joints strength provided that the small-scale yielding conditions must apply. In addition, fracture toughness, Jc of adhesive joints with interfacial crack is independent of bond thickness. It is found that fracture toughness, Jc is a valid fracture parameter only for adhesive joints that fractured cohesively. Besides, for adhesively fractured joints, Kc can be used.
