11706 Analysis of consciousness of Junior High School Students about Technology

Abstract

We aimed at analyzing the consciousness actual situation for technology of junior high schools student. We carried out investigation for 3192 junior high students in 14 junior high schools spreading over 10 prefectures with investigation by the consciousness standard for technology and SD method. About the consciousness for technology, a meaningful difference was recognized about" interest and eagerness to engage in technology", "interest and eagerness to engage in creative activities" in particular by boy and girl. About the image for technology by SD method, the tendency that we compared it with a girl, and a boy had a positive image was confirmed in some items of robot and machine.
