Abstract
The present paper describes about Brunei's wax doll produced by the Brunei Research Committee, JSME. Although the great engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunei (1806-1859) is very famous in England, he is not in Japan. The author has been done to familiarize Brunei and his work to Japanese for over ten years that he was very innovative engineer who is able to affect his engineer's spirit to Japanese engineers. In the year of 2009, the memorial of one hundred fifty years after Brunei's death, the Brunei Research Committee decided to dedicate Brunei's wax doll to Japanese young students and engineers for conveying Brunei's spirit. The wax doll has been made by the great contribution and help of passionate people who identify the need and want of Brunei's spirit with us.
