Abstract
In recent years, follows a lift at home and abroad steadily increases with the addition of a handicap accessible and high rise buildings, many accidents have been reported to cause a shortage of inspection. Assessment carried out for the health of the lift, are urgently needed to develop a structural health monitoring system to support the inspection. In this study, using a wire rope tester using magnetic field measurements are made wire rope being used in elevators, health diagnostics is performed to diagnose the type and degree of damage such as broken wires wear or corrosion of the response waveform consider the possibility of developing the system. From rust and wear flaw response waveform obtained experimentally, and verified that it can detect wire breakage and other damage.
