Abstract
Darneus wind turbine is a vertical wind turbine Its characteristics are low cost of construction, unaffected of wind direction, and higher efficiency in vertical axis wind turbine. But Darrieus wind turbine is lower efficiency than Propeller wind turbine In this research, flow around Darrieus wind turbine is analyzed for pursuing high efficiency by increasing the power coefficient. CFD analysis is conducted with two blade Darrieus wind turbine with various blade sections to obtain the power coefficients. NACA0015 and other blade sections are used and their flow fields are compared.
