Abstract
A mass-micro spring vibration system was constructed and its dynamic characteristics were studied experimentally. If a machine is miniaturized, geometric analogy is effective in its static characteristics, and they can be evaluated to some extent. But its dynamic characteristics cannot be estimated, because miniaturizing a machine makes the influence of gravity weaken and several effects such as static electricity, Van der Waals force or friction force may become strong compared with inertia force. In this study, a mass-micro spring system, which is considered as the most basic dynamical system, was constructed and its typical properties were examined. Consequently, natural frequency of systems could be estimated with simple calculation. And values of damping ratio from examination were smaller than results of past study.
