Abstract
Neuroscience and information engineering are studied actively. Brain Machine Interface (BMI) technology that read the signal accompanying a brain activity and change into the control signal, operates a machine by extracting as information with an intention has been researched. Recently, researches to focus applying the peripheral nerve are performed in the invasive methods of this technology. In this paper, it was performed that proving experiments to applying the control of cyborg robot leg with relatively of actual lower leg motion by calculating the two thresholds of active potential of sciatic nerve of a rat for distinction of motion kinds. Additionally, control method of cyborg leg for a rat was discussed by measuring the bending angle of the knee joint and response of the actuator.
