Abstract
Recently, PTFE sheet is widely used as slide guide surface for the machine tool. PTFE used surface reduce the slide friction in high speed sliding, and has superior wear proof property. Some kind of textured surface is made by milling, scraping, etc., and it is at present influence of the PTFE sheet having a texture on the sliding property has not yet been clarified. In this study, reveal experimentally the influence of the PTFE sheet by using a sliding friction tester, to evaluate the coefficient of friction, the amount of lift, with a texture on the sliding characteristics.
