Abstract
As a part of environmental educations to the students, their families, and faculty, the 30 kW solar photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of the third floor building in September, 2009. As for the constitution, the present solar system was built with the setting angle of 5 degrees for the 166 sets of solar batteries, the DC/AC converter, and others toward the power generation of 30 kW as showed in Table 1. All required data were automatically measured every one minute. The observed data set until September, 2015 was shown in Figure 1. The month of the highest monthly total solar radiation in a year was changing from July or August to May since 2013 as shown in Figure 1. The energy flow chart of this system was described in Figure 2. The influence of weather conditions on the solar power generation was shown in Figure 3. The conversion rate of DC/AC converter was indicated on Figure 4, and in case of the DC generation less than 50kWh, it is greatly decreased as shown in Figure 4, then it was revealed that improvement of the converter was indispensable.
