In recent years,floating offshore wind turbine(FOWT)power generation which is expected to have relatively easy installment and stable power generation receives attention.In the FOWT power generation system,critical understanding on the dynamic oscillation characteristics of waves and wind acting on the facility and stable attitude control are required.Therefore,in this study an experimental investigation on the wind force characteristics acting on the wind turbine was done.Based on the measurement with various stationary slanted wind turbine angle condition using scaled model,changes in the value of drag force and pressure were observed.This characteristic could be greatly affected the occurrence and suppression of FOWT system.In addition to this,there was a different in the drag force acting on the wind turbine depending on the rotation condition.An effort to evaluate the relationship between drag force and rotation speed is going to be done.
