903 Effect of B-Spline Parameters on Optimal Design of Mechanism

Abstract

The authors have developed a universal approach to cam curve design together with some successful application examples to kinematical and dynamic optimization. In the examples, a uniform B-spline of degree 5 was adopted for define a cam curve to be designed. From the application point of view, the authors further examine the effect of the parameters of B-spline on dynamic optimization. This report presents the examination results.
